Position Title: Roadmapping Team Goal Supervisor
Organization name: Organization for Transformative Works
Committee/Workgroup: Organizational Culture Roadmap Workgroup
Reports to: Roadmapping Team Workgroup Heads
Time Requirements: 1-2 hrs/week
Term: Role length depends on goal, no more than 1 year
Role overview: Goal Supervisors take ownership over one specific Roadmap goal and either handle the leadership of that goal or find a specific committee to partner or liaise with to carry the goal to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead drafting of project proposal and timeline for specific goal
- Regularly communicate with Roadmap Workgroup Heads
- Lead working meetings for specific goals
- Lead communication with relevant committees
Skills, experience and attributes:
- Ability to adjust plans based on changing project requirements, scope, and resource
- Ability to lead or help lead a team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project goals, updates, and concerns
- Proactive in addressing challenges, minimizing project disruptions, and ensuring project continuity
- Experience managing projects to be completed fully and on time desired, but not required
- Ability to both self-motivate and work as a team
- Interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a variety of individuals
Requirements:
- Must have served six months as an OTW volunteer in any role.
- Must not be serving as a Roadmapping Team Workgroup Head.
Training requirements: Training on workgroup documentation, standards, and workflows will be provided
