I. AO3 MILESTONES
November was a big month for the AO3! Tag Wrangling canonized the AO3’s 40,000th fandom and celebrated with a post that explained ways that wranglers organize tags to help AO3 users make decisions about how to tag their fanworks. Two weeks later, the AO3 also reached 3 million registered users and made another post to thank AO3 users for their contributions and to summarize some of the benefits of registering an account.
II. ALSO AT THE AO3
AO3 Documentation had a successful month uploading new and revised documents to AO3! In addition to an updated Glossary, the Docs team has created a whopping six new FAQs and tutorials, including the Collections FAQ, Gift Exchange FAQ, Prompt Meme FAQ, Tutorial: Creating a Collection, Tutorial: Running a Gift Exchange on AO3, and Tutorial: Running a Prompt Meme on AO3. Feel free to check out any of these that pertain to you!
Open Doors formally announced the upcoming import of Yahoo Group Rawhide-fic this month! Refer to the import announcement for more information. There is also a new collection on AO3 where fanworks from Rawhide-fic will be available after the import.
In October, Tag Wrangling handled over 380,000 tags, amounting to over 800 tags per wrangler and more than 19,300 pages of tags! Support saw another 1200-ticket month in October, same as September. At the time of this writing, Support was on track to see even more tickets in November, and Policy & Abuse had received over 1500 tickets in November.
III. ELSEWHERE AT THE OTW
