As part of the OTW’s mission, we aim to ensure that accurate and accessible information about fans is available to both fans and the general public.

Transformative Works and Cultures (TWC)
TWC is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly articles on transformative works and fan communities. It is an online-only Diamond Open Access publication, sponsored and funded by the OTW. Launched on September 15, 2008, TWC publishes at least two issues per year.

Zotero Fan Studies Bibliography
This is a comprehensive bibliography of academic studies about fans and fan cultures, affiliated with TWC and maintained by academics in the field.

OTW-Connected Academic Books
This page collects books published by or in collaboration with the OTW. These publications support our goals in fan studies and may generate revenue for the OTW through royalties or other means.

Fanhackers
Fanhackers is a blog run by the Communications committee that is dedicated to fan and fanwork scholarship. It aims to help fans discover and access academic research about fandom.
